5,000 m3 FULLY-PRESSURIZED “LPG/VCM CARRIER” – built in China (Proposed to build 4 Units)
Shipbiz Pty Ltd wishes to announce the completion of arrangements by its Hong Kong associate with “Shipowners” and specialist “Shipyard” for the complete “Design and Build” of
5,000m3 “FULLY - PRESSURIZED LPG/VCM CARRIER” (4 x Units proposed)
Expressions of interest are invited from Ship owners and Parties wishing to participate in discussions.
The vessels are of “Two-Tank Design” consisting of two fully-pressurized and independent tanks, with two segregated cargo lines for the carrying of liquefied gases such as propane, propylene, butane, butadiene, isoprene and vinyl chloride monomer (VCM).

Classification = The hulls, machinery and equipment to be built under survey and in class to Classification Society (IACS) Members nominees, GL, BV, ABS or CCS.

MAIN ENGINE (85% MCR) = abt. 3,000 kW (4,080HP)/600rpm
MAK/MAN B&W/NIIGATA/DAIHATSU or PIELSTICK licensed having capability to drive
the vessel up to 14 knots at designed draft.
BOW THRUSTER = abt. 150 kW (200 HP)
GENERATOR SET = 2 x 250 kW, 1 x 95 kW
ENDURANCE = abt. 6,000 Nautical Miles
CARGO TANK CAPACITY = Tank No. 1 = 2,500 M3
Tank No. 2 = 2,500 M3
Total = 5,000 M3
COMPLEMENT = 14 in European Standard with
private shower & toilet.
NAUTICAL EQUIPMENT = to be fitted as SOLAS for Ocean-going
A1+A2+A3.
CONSTRUCTION PERIOD = 12 months from date of keel laying for first
vessel and thereafter 6 months for each additional unit.
